SUMMER 2022 KARATE: ASHTON RANCH WEEK 1

 Hello Parents and Students!


Welcome to week 1 at Ashton Ranch with Sensei Sean Milligan! Below will be a lot of information on how to check-in every week. Whether you are paying every week, Prepaid, or Paid in Full, all parents must check-in students each week online and in-person onsite. All of the information below can be found on our Private Facebook Page, Google Classroom, and our Website. It will be included in the weekly email/post until registration is over so new parents will have the same information.


IMPORTANT NOTICES

CHILDREN THAT ARE NOT IN THE KARATE PROGRAM ARE NOT ALLOWED IN THE CLASS

ONLY WATER BOTTLES ARE ALLOWED IN THE GYM


ASHTON RANCH CLASS TIMES

5:45 PM - 6:30 PM : WHITE - BLUE BELTS (AGES 4-7)

6:30 PM - 7:30 PM : WHITE - BLUE BELTS (AGES 8+); PURPLE BELTS

7:30 PM - 8:00 PM : SPECIALS ($3.00) TBD

8:00 PM - 9:00 PM : ORANGE BELTS AND ABOVE; ADULTS

*NOTE: CLINICS ARE ON SATURDAY AT KINGSWOOD 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM ($10.00)

*PLEASE ARRIVE 10 MIN. EARLY TO CHECK-IN ON SITE, WEEKLY


PRIOR TO CLASS (ONLINE)

Please be sure to CHECK-IN ONLINE using the same username and password you used to register for class. At this point you will either be paying for class or just checking-in (Paid in Full/Prepaid Students). If your student is staying for sparring/specials, please be sure to pay the $3.00 upon check-in.

***Students not checked-in ONLINE will be counted as Absent (Paid in Full or Prepaid) or Not Paid (Weekly Pay Students) even if they show up for class in person.***

AT LOCATION (ONSITE)

  • All Students, Parents/Guardians, and guests STAYING for class will be temperature checked.
  • VERY IMPORTANT! Please check in with the Parent Secretary upon arrival. This is to ensure that students are accounted for correctly. ***Students not checked-in in PERSON as well as ONLINE will be marked as Absent or Not Paid.***
  • ABSENCES: Absences must be made up prior to the testing date for each location. All students must have perfect attendance prior to testing. Absences can be made up by doing the following:
    • ** Come to an earlier class from the student's regular class.
    • ** Stay for an extra class.
    • ** Use Specials or Sparring (Green Belt and above) class as a make-up at the student's regular class price of $9.00 or $10.00
    • ** Go to another location for class. Email/text me to find out more information.
  • If a Parent/Guardian would like to stay for class, you may do so by signing a yellow form stating that you are a Parent Helper. Parent Helpers should be able to assist the instructor during class.
  • The yellow sign sheet is asking for the parent/guardian information, such as Date Of Birth, not the student's.
  • Parents/Guardians staying in the class must be able to assist when Sensei Sean asks for Volunteers.


  • Children that are NOT in the karate program are NOT ALLOWED in the gym during class. However, they are more than welcome to stay in the hallway with a Parent/Guardian.
  • Students that are Not Paid for 3 weeks in a row will be prohibited from attending class until the balance has been paid.
  • Please help us with keeping the location clean. Do not throw tissues or paper towels on the floor. Please do not make a mess in the bathrooms. We would appreciate your assistance with this.


STUDENTS

  • Please be sure to BOW before entering the GYM (facing the gym/cafeteria)
  • Please be sure to BOW before leaving the GYM (facing the gym/cafeteria)
